The Importance of Sexual Health

Sexual health can be one of the major aspects of an individual’s life. Erectile Dysfunction

Erectile dysfunction is a man’s inability to have or maintain an erection for sexual intercourse and other sexual activities. It can also refer to as impotence. The erection process includes the brain, nerves, muscles, emotions, and blood flow. Affecting even only one of these factors can cause erectile dysfunction, and there are various underlying physical and psychological health conditions that impact these factors. This condition is common in men of all ages. Sometimes it can happen occasionally, and men would consider it only as a bad night, and the main cause of the occasional inability of having an erection is stress. Ejaculation Disorders

There are two kinds of ejaculation disorders.

· Premature Ejaculation

Premature ejaculation happens when one ejaculates quickly and immediately during sexual activities faster than they would have wanted it to be. It can be a side effect of erectile dysfunction, psychological issues, hormonal imbalance, ageing, or relationship issues.

· Retrograde Ejaculation

Retrograde ejaculation pertains to semen entering the bladder instead of having to emerge through the penis when ejaculating. This results in ejaculating a minimal amount of semen, if not none at all. It also refers to as dry orgasm. Although it does not bring any harm, it can pose a risk of infertility for men.

Low Sex Drive

Low sex drive also refers to the loss of libido. It impacts sexual drive in both men and women, and it is a common experience that can encounter at a certain point in life. The most prominent factor of having a low sex drive is stress, tiredness, or relationship issues. However, serious medical conditions such as hormonal imbalance can also be one of its reasons.
